Job Description

We are seeking experienced and passionate mentors to join our team as Education Consultants or Counselors. As a mentor, you will work with senior high school students, guiding them through the process of selecting the most suitable university major based on their “minat dan bakat” interests, strengths, and career aspirations. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a deep understanding of the Indonesian education system.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one mentorship to students, helping them explore and choose university majors.

Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths, interests, and career goals.

Offer expert advice on university options, entrance requirements, and career prospects.

Create personalized action plans for students to achieve their educational and career objectives.

Stay updated on educational trends, university programs, and career opportunities.

Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to support student development.

Facilitate workshops or group sessions on university and career planning.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Senior High School BK teacher (Guru BK di SMA) (Guidance and Counseling Teacher)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to build rapport with students and provide empathetic guidance.

Knowledge of the Indonesian education system, university admission processes, and career trends.

Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques to evaluate student interests and abilities (penentuan minat bakat siswa).

Organizational skills to manage multiple students and create tailored personalized plans for students.

Having a connection or community with other education consultants / BK teachers would be a plus point.
