HSE Coordinator & Safety Officer

About the role PT Parindo Jaya Ows' is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator & Safety Officer to play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations. As a full-time position based in Cakung Jakarta, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust safety protocols, providing training and support to our teams, and driving a culture of safety excellence throughout the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Developing, implementing, and regularly reviewing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

Conducting regular risk assessments, job safety analyses, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards

Providing training and support to all employees on safety best practices and emergency response procedures

Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of our operations

Maintaining accurate records and reporting on key safety metrics to senior management

Promoting a positive safety culture and encouraging employee engagement in safety initiatives

What we're looking for

Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field

5+ years of experience in a similar HSE Coordinator or Safety Officer role, preferably within the engineering or construction industry

Proven track record of developing and implementing effective health, safety, and environmental management systems

Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail

Proficiency in relevant safety and compliance software, including incident reporting and data analysis tools

Thorough knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
