Job Responsibilities

Oversee procurement of materials and non-materials required for production and operations. Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to optimize purchasing costs. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to meet material requirements. Supervise, mentor, and manage the performance of the purchasing team Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and relevant regulations. Generate purchasing reports and provide insights to the Plant Director to support strategic decisions. Collaborate with production, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and supplier consolidation. Conduct market research to stay updated on material trends, pricing, and supplier innovations. Requirements

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3โ€“5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in furniture/similar industry Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of sourcing, contract management, and inventory control. Experienced in leading & supervising team Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus. Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong understanding of material and non-material procurement processes and market trends.
