Staff Nurse @ Senior Care Centre

Job Description

Key person in setting up and upkeep of clinical/medical protocols pertaining to client needs, from onboarding to discharging.

Assessment for new case referrals and reassessment of existing clients.

Guide, train and leading a team of Healthcare Assistants and oversee the nursing care, standards and operations across our day care centres.

Working closely with other healthcare professionals on planning client ICP, care and safety in the centre.

Respond to emergencies, conduct investigations on incidents and preventive actions.

Working with the centre management on ensuring the upkeep of clinical equipment and supplies.

Evaluate and monitor progress of clients’ treatment regularly.

Ensure strict compliance to MOH regulations in the performance of services.

Create and maintain database of all clients, ensuring strict compliance to documentation, providing evidence-based treatment with accurate and timely records.

Any other adhoc tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements

Minimum NITEC / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Advanced Diploma in Gerontology or Palliative Care is an advantage.

Must be an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board and possess a clean disciplinary record (nurses on conditional licenses are not eligible for this role).

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable using IT tools in daily work.

Ability to converse in local dialects will be an added advantage due to elderly clients in eldercare sector.
