For one of our clients based in Europe, we are currently looking for a

Quantum Engineer.

Details:

Start date:

ASAP Contract Duration:

6 months with extension Remote work

with occasional on-site team sessions in Prague US hours overlap : Min. 2–6 pm CET (ideally until 7 pm CET)

Scope:

Design and implement quantum algorithms (e.g., Shor’s, Grover’s, VQAs). Develop solutions using IBM Qiskit and D-Wave (Leap/Ocean, QUBO modeling). Work with gate-based quantum systems and quantum annealing platforms. Build hybrid quantum–classical applications using Python. Apply ML/DL techniques where appropriate. Contribute to research and innovation initiatives.

Skills:

5 years of experience (in quantum computing/algorithms/cryptography). Strong understanding of linear algebra and quantum mechanics (entanglement, superposition, error correction). Hands-on experience with IBM Qiskit and/or D-Wave platforms. Strong Python skills (C++ or Julia is a plus). Knowledge of quantum optimization (QUBO), quantum cryptography, and quantum NLP. Understanding of ML/DL techniques and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn).

Nice to Have:

Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems. Research publications in quantum computing. Background in Generative AI or Data Science.
