Symfony Developer

We are seeking an experienced Symfony Developer with a strong background in PHP development and scalable web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the technical excellence of our products. Your expertise in Symfony, database optimization, and API integrations will be key to your success.

Job description Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using PHP, Symfony Framework, and EasyAdmin. Build scalable and maintainable APIs and web applications. Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed. Optimize database queries and work with MySQL to ensure high performance. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Implement unit tests to ensure code quality and system reliability. Collaborate closely with frontend developers, project managers, and designers to deliver high-quality projects on time. Troubleshoot and debug applications to maintain system stability and scalability. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PHP, Symfony, and related technologies.

Requirements Proven 3-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer

with solid understanding of

PHP, OOP principles, and Symfony framework

(e.g: good understanding Dependency Injection, Event Dispatcher, Doctrine ORM, etc). Experience with

EasyAdmin

is a big plus. Experience working with unit testing (such as

PHP Unit ) is a plus. Experience with refactoring legacy code and improving existing code, is a plus. Experience with a twig templating engine is a plus. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and version control (GIT). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Proficient in English, both verbal and written, as you’ll be working closely with international clients and cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Willing to work onsite (WFO) in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
