Department Head of Compliance

Job Description: Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Company’s compliance framework to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements (including OJK). Act as trusted advisor to the Board of Directors and Senior Management on regulatory developments, compliance risks, and governance matters impacting business strategy and operations. Serve as primary liaison with regulators and relevant authorities, ensuring timely reporting, regulatory submissions, and effective communication. Oversee the development, enhancement, and implementation of corporate governance frameworks, compliance policies, and internal procedures to support sustainable and compliant business operations. Lead enterprise-wide data protection and privacy compliance initiatives and act as Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring independent oversight of data governance practices. Develop and drive the Company’s Financial Crime Compliance strategy, including AML/CFT controls and other preventive measures to mitigate regulatory and reputational risks. Oversee the Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC) framework, including governance of Gift, Entertainment, Sponsorship, and related controls in alignment with applicable standards and best practices. Ensure regulatory compliance in product development, business initiatives, third-party arrangements, and distribution channels, including oversight of sales compliance monitoring, investigations, and remedial actions. Lead and strengthen compliance monitoring, advisory, and investigation activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective implementation of corrective actions. Drive the planning and execution of enterprise-wide compliance training and awareness programs to foster a strong culture of integrity, ethical conduct, and accountability.

Job Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Law (S.H. or equivalent). Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Compliance, including leadership experience at managerial or senior level. Prior experience in a Life Insurance company is mandatory. Strong knowledge of Indonesian regulatory frameworks (including OJK regulations), corporate governance principles, and risk management practices. Proven ability to lead and develop compliance teams, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and drive a strong compliance culture across the organization. Demonstrated experience in engaging and communicating effectively with regulators and senior management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high integrity and professional judgment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related tools.
