Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Banquet Operation Manager to join our team in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. As the Banquet Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maximizing customer satisfaction for a wide range of events.
Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings
Manage and lead the banquet team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
Create and manage budgets for banquet operations, controlling costs while maintaining quality standards
Collaborate with sales and catering teams to ensure seamless event execution
Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring compliance with quality standards and health regulations
Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Maintain inventory of banquet equipment, linens, and supplies
Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance banquet offerings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in banquet operations or related hospitality field
Proven track record in team management and leadership
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
Excellent event planning and coordination skills
Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
Outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Food Safety Certification
Familiarity with local and international cuisine
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus
