Preschool Music Teacher (Full-Time)

KINEX (Paya Lebar) or Pasir Ris Mall | Mon–Fri | 1 Half-Day Sat/Month

Job Summary We are seeking an engaging and musically skilled educator to join a well-established preschool group in Singapore. This role involves delivering a structured, play‑based music curriculum that nurtures children’s love for music through singing, movement, and hands‑on instrumental learning.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a comprehensive preschool music curriculum for children aged 18 months to 6 years (PG – K2).

Teach foundational music skills including singing, percussion, keyboard, recorder, and violin (for older age groups).

Plan, lead, and reflect on music lessons aligned with the centre’s educational philosophy.

Track and document children's musical progress using checklists and anecdotal records.

Support performances, school events, and year-end concerts.

Work closely with classroom teachers and parents to build a joyful musical environment.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field.

(ABRSM certifications in Piano, Music Theory, or similar are advantageous.)

Proficient in at least two musical instruments (e.g. Piano, Violin, Ukulele, Guitar).

Familiarity with Solfege (do‑re‑mi), Suzuki Violin, or Keyboard instruction is a bonus.

Classroom experience teaching music to preschoolers is essential.

Confident classroom presence, strong communication, and child engagement skills.

Warm, creative, and passionate about inspiring musical discovery in young children.

Working Hours & Locations

Monday to Friday , within

7am – 7pm

operating hours (scheduled shifts).

half‑day Saturday

per month, scheduled in advance.

Pasir Ris Mall , assigned by the employer.
