SENIOR MARINE MECHANIC SPECIALIS TURBOCHARGER

Perform

inspection, maintenance, and repair

of marine turbochargers for main engines and auxiliary engines. Carry out

turbocharger overhaul , including dismantling, cleaning, inspection, measurement, and reassembly. Inspect and replace

bearings, seals, rotors, nozzle rings, diffusers , and related components. Conduct or support

rotor balancing

activities when required. Diagnose

faults and abnormalities

such as excessive vibration, high temperature, abnormal noise, and performance loss. Perform

commissioning and performance testing

after service. Read, understand, and follow

manufacturer manuals and service instructions

(ABB, MAN, Mitsubishi, KBB, Napier, etc.). Prepare and submit

service reports

and job documentation. Provide

technical support and advice

to ship engineers and clients. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with

safety, quality, and company standards . Perform

onboard, port, and shipyard service jobs . Be available for

travel and on-call service

as required. Qualifications:

Minimum education:

Technical High School / Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering . Experience in

marine turbocharger servicing

(fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions). Ability to use

measuring instruments

(micrometer, dial gauge, feeler gauge). Able to work

independently and as part of a team . Physically fit and able to work in

marine and shipboard environments . Added advantages: Experience with specific turbocharger brands Technical English communication skills
