Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven
Business Development Representative (BDR)
with proven experience in the
Life Sciences industry . This role is focused on outbound prospecting, appointment setting, and pipeline generation. The ideal candidate understands the Life Sciences landscape (biotech, pharma, medical devices, CROs, research organizations) and can confidently engage decision-makers in strategic conversations.
You will play a critical role in driving new business opportunities and supporting the sales team by booking qualified discovery meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and target qualified prospects within the Life Sciences sector
Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (cold calling, email, LinkedIn)
Conduct high-volume sales prospecting activities
Set qualified appointments and discovery meetings for Account Executives
Research target accounts and personalize outreach strategies
Appointment Setting
Engage key stakeholders (Directors, VPs, C-level executives)
Qualify prospects based on defined criteria
Effectively communicate value propositions
Maintain consistent follow-up cadence to increase conversion rates
CRM & Sales Tools Management
Accurately track all activities in CRM systems
Manage pipelines and prospecting workflows
Utilize tools such as:
Apollo
ReadyMode
HubSpot
Maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a BDR or SDR in the
Life Sciences industry
Strong background in:
Appointment setting
Outbound sales prospecting
Hands-on experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (Apollo, ReadyMode, HubSpot, or similar)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong research and account-mapping abilitie
