Role Description
As a KYC Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring customer identification and verification processes are conducted accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. This role focuses on document review, customer risk profiling, and ensuring onboarding processes meet KYC, CDD, EDD, and AML/CTF standards. You will work closely with relevant teams to maintain security, compliance, and the integrity of business operations.
Key Resposibilities
Perform customer identity verification in accordance with company KYC policies and regulatory requirements.
Review the authenticity, completeness, and validity of customer documents during onboarding.
Conduct customer risk assessments based on available data and information.
Perform screening against watchlists, PEP lists, and other risk indicators.
Ensure all verification processes are completed within the defined SLA.
Document verification results and maintain strict confidentiality of customer data.
Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams for clarification or escalation of findings.
Support internal and external audit processes related to KYC activities.
Qualification
Male, minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any major.
1–2 years of experience in KYC, customer verification, or related roles.
Strong understanding of KYC, CDD, EDD, and AML/CTF principles.
Ability to perform document verification and customer risk profiling.
Detail-oriented, high integrity, and able to work within SLA targets.
