Senior Tax Consultant

About the role This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Senior Tax Consultant at EP Consulting in the heart of Central Jakarta. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic and high-quality tax services to a diverse range of clients. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients meet their tax obligations and maximize their tax efficiency. The position offers the flexibility of full-time employment.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing monthly tax returns (withholding tax and VAT) and Annual Corporate Income Tax Return which prepared by other team members

Arranging all documents in relation to any tax projects (SP2DK, tax audit / objection / appeal / tax law suit)

Coordinating with superior, juniors, and tax authorities in any tax projects

Providing expert tax advisory services to clients, including tax planning, compliance, and dispute resolution

Mentoring and training more junior members of the tax team

Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations

Contributing to the overall growth and development of the tax practice

What we’re looking for

Have a good attitude and communication with other co-workers

Have motivation to learn new things and self-study attitude

A minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in a tax compliance/dispute role, preferably within a large accounting and tax consultant firm

Extensive knowledge of basic accounting, Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and commercially-focused tax advice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

A proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to identify and implement tax-saving strategies

A professional tax qualification, such as a USKP and/or Brevet, would be highly desirable
