What you'll be doing : Work closely with the Manager in Singapore to develop insurance strategy for the Group. Conduct risk assessment analysis and implement business improvement strategies relating to insurance for the Group. Benchmarking with industry to assess reasonableness of Group’s insurance policies, and ensure the insurance's policies are systematically implemented at different business units. Prepare annual insurance budget, track premium payments and report deviations to management. Facilitate risk presentation to brokers and/or insurers before each key renewal. Obtain, review and negotiate competitive terms and pricing with brokers and/or insurers. Analyse the renewal terms for each class of risk together with alternative cover and premium options where applicable. Explore alternative risk transfer and/or risk control and/or risk financing options where applicable. Establish and develop relationships with insurers, re-insurers and brokers. Develop independent insurance monitoring platform to enhance management’s understanding of policies in force and facilitate decision-making. Develop claims tracking system and ensure claims and reimbursements are promptly made. Update and maintain robust records of Group-wide insurance premiums, coverage and claims for reporting. Analyse trends and make recommendations to management to optimize policies. Regular review meetings and knowledge sharing with Business Units and Group management regarding developments in insurance market.

What we're looking for : Bachelor's degree in the related job field Minimum 3 years relevant commercial insurance experience, preferably experienced in

marine cargo ,

trade credit , and

business interruption

insurance Good understanding of insurance industry, fundamentals and regulations Possess Certification in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent Analytical with strong strategic planning capabilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficient in

English

both

spoken

and

written Open to business travel
