Technician (Instrument)

Job Description

Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment (panel, electromotor)

Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation (level switch, level transmitter, pressure switch, pressure transmitter, pressure gauge, temperature gauge, temperature transmitter, pH sensor, flow meter)

Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of air compressor and air dryer

Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of pneumatic and motorized shut‑off valves and control valves

Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of PLC & DCS control systems

Provide a report to superiors (direct communication) if a problem cannot be resolved within the shift time limit, in accordance with applicable procedures

Provide report regarding predictive and calibration activities

Ensure health and safety principles are followed during normal shifts

Achieve targets according to work quality objectives

Experience

Preferably holding a degree majoring in Instrumentation or Electrical

Minimum experience working in automation and instrumentation in a palm oil processing environment

Certification in calibration is preferred

Able to use PLC platforms such as Siemens, GE, Fanuc, etc.

Familiar with electrical single line diagram, schematic diagram, PID diagram
