Responsibilities

Provide SAP Basis support during development and production phases.

Support SAP hardware and system software environment, specifically in High Availability (HACMP).

Administer user profiles and authorizations.

Maintain SAP systems on development and production servers.

Manage SAP correction and control systems.

Support technical integrity of SAP systems and application software.

Assist helpdesk with SAP‑related technical issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve SAP‑related technical problems.

Monitor SAP performance, perform basic tuning and configure SAP systems to maintain performance.

Develop operational procedures (e.g., backup, restore, etc.).

Provide database administration support during development and production phases, assisting SAP Basis consultants and CAP Application teams.

Maintain current HANA databases on development and production servers in a High Availability environment.

Apply and manage database patches.

Maintain technical integrity of databases.

Assist helpdesk with database‑related technical issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve database problems.

Monitor database performance, perform basic tuning and configure database to maintain performance.

Perform database backup and restore using IBM Spectrum Protect and Cristie.
