MidPlaza Holding is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Government Relations & Liaison to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's public image, advocating for our interests, and ensuring compliance with governmental policies. Your role will involve strategic planning, building and maintaining networks, and effectively communicating the company's objectives to various government entities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for effective government relations and public affairs
Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and relevant stakeholders
Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the organization
Represent MidPlaza Holding in meetings and discussions with government entities and industry associations
Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for senior management on government relations issues
Collaborate with internal teams to align the company's objectives with government policies and initiatives
Advocate for the company's interests in legislative matters and public policy discussions
Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and participate in public hearings or consultations as needed
Develop communication strategies to enhance the organization's public image and reputation in the governmental landscape
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Law (preferred).
Strong understanding of criminal law, criminal procedure law, and corporate compliance regulations.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in government relations, corporate legal, litigation support, or prior experience working in a law enforcement institution (considered an added value).
Proven experience coordinating with law enforcement authorities (Police, Prosecutor's Office, Civil Servant Investigators/PPNS) and other supervisory agencies.
Experienced in handling case reporting, clarification processes, investigations/inquiries, and providing assistance during examination proceedings
Strong understanding of criminal law processes (preliminary inquiry/investigation, formal investigation, Stage I & II case submissions, P-19, P-21, etc.).
Knowledge of criminal reporting procedures and case handling mechanisms.
Ability to draft case chronologies, legal briefs, and position papers.
Understanding of legal risk management and crisis handling.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Well-established professional network with law enforcement officers and government institutions (without violating ethical and legal provisions).
Ability to maintain institutional relationships professionally and with integrity.
Disciplined, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and diplomatic abilities.
