Community Development Specialist

About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Community Development Specialist to foster strong relationships with our community partners, drive engagement initiatives, and build programs that enhance community collaboration. The role involves planning and executing strategies to grow and support our community network while aligning with the company’s objectives. The ideal candidate has a passion for community building, excellent communication skills, and experience in stakeholder management. This position requires onsite work and relocation to Purbalingga.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement community engagement programs to strengthen relationships with stakeholders. Act as a liaison between the company and community members to address needs and foster partnerships. Organize events, workshops, and activities to encourage active community participation. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community development initiatives and provide regular reports. Identify and mitigate challenges or risks affecting community relationships. Stay updated on trends and best practices in community development to enhance program impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in community development, stakeholder engagement, or related roles. Proven track record of planning and executing successful community engagement programs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple initiatives effectively. Experience in event planning and project management. Familiarity with data collection and reporting for program evaluation purposes.

Requirements

Willingness and ability to relocate to Purbalingga for onsite work. Passion for community building and a deep understanding of community dynamics. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities. Familiarity with the FMCG industry or similar sectors is a plus.
