Job Description
Develop and manage annual budgets for all outlets and central operations.
Prepare monthly financial forecasts, variance analysis, and profitability reports.
Track outlet-level performance (COGS %, labor cost %, overheads, EBITDA).
Provide insights and recommendations to improve margins and reduce cost leakages.
Analyze new store feasibility, ROI, and payback period.
2. Cost Control & Inventory Management
Monitor and control food cost, beverage cost, packaging cost, and wastage.
Ensure standard recipe costing and menu engineering analysis are maintained.
Work with kitchen and procurement teams to reduce cost of goods sold.
Oversee inventory cycles, stock counts, and reconciliation between POS vs. actual usage.
Detect anomalies such as pilferage, spoilage, and inaccurate stock reporting.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll, bank reconciliation).
Ensure accurate month-end closing and timely financial statement submissions.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and taxation regulations.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity needs.
Supervise bookkeeping of outlet cash deposits, daily sales, and petty cash.
4. Internal Controls & Compliance
Implement strong financial controls for cash handling, POS reconciliation, and vendor payments.
Develop SOPs for purchasing, receiving, inventory, and outlet financial processes.
Ensure compliance with tax filings, audits, BPOM/health-related finance requirements (if applicable), and other regulatory matters.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Review and approve purchase orders, supplier contracts, and pricing agreements.
Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate better terms, and optimize procurement processes.
Ensure timely payment to vendors while maintaining healthy cash flow.
6. Operational Support
Partner with operations team to track outlet KPIs (sales, average check, labor cost, wastage).
Attend weekly operational meetings to provide financial insights.
Support marketing and promotions by evaluating cost efficiency and ROI.
Develop dashboards for outlet managers and leadership.
7. Strategic Finance & Business Growth
Support expansion plans, including location scouting, financial modeling, and cost projection.
Conduct sensitivity analysis for menu changes, pricing strategy, and promotions.
Lead financial aspects of franchising (if applicable): royalty reporting, franchise audits, franchisee support.
Supervise finance and accounting staff across central office and outlets.
Train outlet managers on basic financial literacy (COGS control, cash handling, inventory SOP).
Enhance overall finance capability by improving systems and procedures.
Key Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5โ7 years experience in finance or accounting; experience in F&B or retail is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and multi-outlet financial operations.
Proficiency in POS systems, accounting software, and Excel.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
