Maintenance Department .
About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven
Maintenance Assistant Manager
to lead and optimize maintenance strategies across our fuel station (SPBU) network.
This role is responsible for developing strategic policies and procedures, managing and controlling maintenance and repair activities of facilities, equipment, and assets to ensure:
Operational reliability
Safety and regulatory compliance
Minimum breakdown and faster recovery time
Balance between cost, time, quality, and safety standards

Key Responsibilities
Develop resource availability strategies (spare parts & manpower) for all fuel stations
Establish effective maintenance strategies with appropriate SLAs
Balance Preventive vs Reactive Maintenance to achieve cost efficiency, asset useful life, and SLA performance
Monitor fuel and non-fuel system maintenance performance (buildings & equipment)
Ensure contractor compliance with SLA and scope of work
Approve and justify spare part replacement
Ensure warranty compliance for fuel systems and buildings
Evaluate maintenance contractor performance based on contract
Review equipment/building issues, risk assessments, corrective & predictive maintenance initiatives
Assess fuel system performance and explore more efficient alternatives
Evaluate building quality/design in relation to maintenance costs
Provide input on construction methods impacting maintenance efficiency
Identify potential risks and develop preventive strategies
Ensure compliance with risk management framework
Implement maintenance SOP, OHS (K3), and HSSE standards
Ensure compliance with fuel station regulations
Conduct inspections and internal asset audits
Prepare and control maintenance budgets
Develop annual and monthly maintenance plans
Identify cost efficiency and asset reliability improvement opportunities
Communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide maintenance updates
Manage contractor relationships and issue warnings if required
Conduct performance discussions and lesson learned reviews
Prepare maintenance performance reports
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in maintenance management (fuel retail / industrial / facilities preferred)
Strong knowledge of fuel systems and facility maintenance
Experience managing contractors and SLAs
Strong budgeting and cost control experience
Solid understanding of HSSE and regulatory compliance
Strong analytical and leadership skills
