Accountant (Oil & Gas ONLY)

The Accountant must have solid experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax, preferably with a background in the Oil & Gas industry. Proficiency in ERP accounting systems and financial software is essential, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations. This role includes preparing and posting journal entries to the General Ledger, performing account reconciliations, overseeing bank book and monthly bank reconciliations, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant tax requirements. Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Accounting

Reconcile journal entries and periodic tax accruals. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare periodic financial reports, annual budgets, and forecasts. Handle tax payments, reporting, and returns. Treasury and Cash Flow Management

Conduct monthly reviews of actual vs. budgeted operational expenses. Perform bank book management and monthly bank reconciliation. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with PSAK. Build and maintain effective relationships with banks, auditors, and tax consultants as required. Candidate Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or corporate finance roles. Experience in establishing and developing accounting systems, including tax management and record setup. Strong understanding of corporate tax compliance. Experience in tax preparation and reporting.
