Direct Contract, Inhouse Recovery Agent, Risk Management Group (WD79942) Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decision. Additionally, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute the recovery process for direct contracts, ensuring efficient and effective debt collection

Analyze customer financial information and develop tailored repayment plans to maximize recovery rates

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal and compliance teams, to ensure adherence to policies and regulations

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recovery activities and customer interactions

Proactively identify and elevate high‑risk cases to the management team

Provide regular reports and updates on the performance of the recovery portfolio

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in debt collection or recovery operations

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess customer financial situations and develop effective recovery strategies

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with customers and reach mutually agreeable repayment terms

Proficient in using relevant software and systems to manage recovery activities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve recovery targets

Thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to debt collection
