Accounting & Tax Manager

About the role As the Accounting & Tax Manager at PT Samindo Resources Tbk, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's Accounting‑Tax function. Reporting directly to the management team, you will be responsible for accounting and tax functions and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and reporting standards. This full‑time position is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with PSAK / IFRS and capital market reporting requirements.

Coordinate the preparation of financial statements for management, regulators, and stakeholders.

Maintain and strengthen internal accounting controls and procedures.

Manage corporate tax compliance including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.

Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and tax payments.

Coordinate tax audits and handle tax correspondence with tax authorities.

Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the company.

Develop tax planning strategies while ensuring compliance with regulations.

What we're looking for

Proficiency in English (oral & written) is a must. Please do not apply if you’re not fluent in English.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

At least 14 years total working experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred.

Qualified accountant (CPA, CIA, CA or equivalent) is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Strong knowledge of PSAK / IFRS and Indonesian tax regulations.

Familiarity with capital market reporting requirements is an advantage.

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
