SAP ABAP Developer

Responsibilities

Collaborate with functional teams to develop and enhance system solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain

ABAP

programs to support business needs beyond standard SAP functionality.

Review development processes, system changes, and bug fixes within SAP applications.

Conduct technical assessments for new development requests and actively analyze issues to provide effective technical solutions.

Coordinate with third-party vendors, including monitoring, controlling, and overseeing technical activities.

Monitor and control third-party mandays and review technical support activities based on requests.

Ensure development requests align with platform standards; propose alternative standard-compliant solutions when necessary.

Review and optimize system utilization and technical performance.

Stay updated with IT technologies and propose improvement ideas to management and team members.

Monitor and control source code updates, technical documentation, and user manuals.

Conduct application-related training sessions and system updates.

Integrate SAP systems with other internal or external software solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information System / Informatics Engineering / equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the same role as SAP ABAPer.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to propose improvement ideas.

Good communication skills and able to work effectively with stakeholders.
