Job Overview Support the Treasury Director and Head of Treasury in defining and managing the Bank’s overall strategic direction for Treasury planning. This includes oversight of Asset and Liability Management (ALM), liquidity risk management, and compliance with regulatory liquidity ratios. Lead the development of new treasury products and the enhancement of existing products and activities, ensuring alignment with market practices, regulatory expectations, and the Bank’s strategic objectives. Set and manage the strategic direction for Treasury Product Development, ensuring a structured roadmap that strengthens the Bank’s capabilities and competitiveness. Serve as an intermediary for knowledge transfer and best‑practice sharing across SMBC regional offices, particularly within major developing markets in Asia, to ensure consistency, capability uplift, and alignment with global Treasury standards.

Job Qualifications Minimum Bachelor Degree Minimum 15 years in Treasury Recognized as an experienced in Indonesia and/or global treasury market. Has a good track record as a dealer / treasury staff in banking sector Have a good network with SMBC Group Japanese Speaker will be an advantage Hold treasury certification minimum Advance level (or obtain it within six months after the nomination) Have knowledge on Asset & Liabilities Management and Monetary product related to liquidity management. Deep understanding on Treasury products, Asset & Liabilities management, FX, Fixed Income and Derivative products. Expert in relevant banking and treasury regulations
