Job Summary
Entrepreneur Resorts is looking for a Finance Manager for our Bali Resorts will be a dynamic and experienced leader responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of our portfolio of resorts in Bali. This role requires a visionary individual with a proven track record in luxury hospitality management, business development, and team leadership.
The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations,
strategy, and reporting for our portfolio of luxury resorts located across Bali. This role requires a
highly experienced, strategic, and hands-on finance professional capable of driving profitability,
ensuring financial compliance, and supporting the executive team in long-term strategic
planning. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of the Indonesian hospitality market,
local tax regulations, and international financial reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management and Reporting
Manage the day-to-day financial operations of multiple resort properties, including
general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Prepare and analyze timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements in accordance with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP)
and local regulations.
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Maintain strong internal controls and safeguards over company assets and financial
records.
Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors.
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Analysis
Lead the annual budgeting process for all Bali resorts, working closely with General
Managers and department heads to develop realistic and ambitious financial targets.
Develop robust financial forecasts (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) to anticipate
business performance and identify potential risks or opportunities.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs), operational
efficiency, cost management, and revenue streams (e.g., F&B, rooms, spa).
Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial insights to
optimize profitability and operational performance.
Taxation and Compliance
Ensure full compliance with all Indonesian tax laws, including VAT, corporate tax, and
withholding tax (PPh).
Manage local government and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., Statistik
Pariwisata, local tourism levies).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in Indonesian financial regulations and
implement necessary adjustments.
Oversee treasury functions, cash flow management, and banking relationships in
Indonesia.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, mentor, and develop the on-site finance teams across the various resort locations.
Establish and enforce high standards for financial best practices and integrity within the
finance department.
Foster a culture of financial accountability and transparency across all resort operations.
Qualifications
Essential
Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 3 years
in a Senior Management position (e.g., Financial Controller, Finance Director).
Proven experience in the hospitality or resort industry, preferably in a multi-property
environment.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent
Professional certification is highly desirable.
Expert-level knowledge of Indonesian tax law and compliance requirements.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Strong proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, major hotel
PMS/POS systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Desirable
Experience with pre-opening finance planning for new resorts.
Familiarity with international foreign exchange dynamics and their impact on resort
finances.
Demonstrated ability to implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising guest
experience.
