Climate Finance Study Management

Develop research plans related to infrastructure sector financing related to climate change issues, such as energy transition, carbon pricing, and green investment.

Collect, process, and analyze economic, financial, infrastructure, and climate change-related data to identify financing opportunities and risks in various infrastructure sectors.

Compile comparative studies related to climate finance implementation.

Develop relevant research methodologies related to climate finance analysis.

Evaluate the implementation of research activities.

Dissemination of Research Results on Infrastructure Related to Climate Change

Prepare research reports related to climate change policy and financing.

Regularly present study results to internal and external stakeholders.

Conducting Research Collaboration

Plan and identify potential research collaborations with other competent and credible parties.

Collaborate and coordinate research implementation with other relevant parties.

Participate in communities/groups/associations related to economic research and training at the national and international levels.

Qualification

Minimum Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Environmental Economics, Climate Policy and Finance, Sustainable Finance or other related fields.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the fields of economic research, climate policy and finance, sustainable finance, especially related to climate change and the energy transition.

Professional experience in compiling or coordinating economic/financial research studies at research institutions, financial institutions, or Development Financial Institutions (DFI).

Have in-depth knowledge of economic research theories, applications and methodologies relevant to the issues of climate change, environmental economics and sustainable financing.

Have an understanding of climate finance concepts and instruments such as carbon markets, green bonds, blended finance, and those related to ESG.

Required skills

Skilled in using relevant quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

Have excellent communication skills (oral and written) in Indonesian and English.

High integrity, results-oriented and quality analysis.

Able to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple research jobs in parallel.

Have problem solving and data-based decision making skills.

Able to build professional networks with research institutions, government, international financing institutions and academics.

Professional experience in compiling or coordinating economic/financial research studies.

Have in-depth knowledge of economic research theories, applications and methodologies.

Have an understanding of climate finance concepts and instruments.
