Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customs Specialist to manage our import/export documentation and ensure compliance with all government regulations. You will serve as the primary liaison between the company and Bea Cukai (Customs) to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and ensure a smooth, end-to-end customs clearance process for all incoming and outgoing shipments. Act as the main point of contact for Customs officials, resolving any issues related to document submission or shipment discrepancies. Verify that all paperwork—including invoices, packing lists, and licenses—is complete, accurate, and compliant with Indonesian trade laws. Represent the company and accompany Customs officers during physical shipment inspections at the port or warehouse. Ensure all goods are correctly classified under the appropriate

HS Code

to determine correct duties and taxes.

Requirements: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience handling customs clearance, preferably in a freight forwarding or manufacturing environment. Strong communication and negotiation skills to deal with Customs officials. High attention to detail to avoid administrative fines (Nota Pembetulan). Ability to work under pressure to meet tight shipment deadlines.

and travel to ports when necessary.
