Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in operations consulting specialise in providing consulting services on optimising operational efficiency and effectiveness. These individuals analyse client needs, develop operational strategies, and offer guidance and support to help clients streamline processes, improve productivity, and drive business performance.
In connected supply chain at PwC, you will focus on optimising supply chain operations and improving end-to-end visibility and collaboration. You will work closely with clients to analyse supply chain processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase responsiveness. Working in this area, you will provide guidance on technology and data analytics to create a connected and agile supply chain network.
At PwC South East Asia Consulting, we help businesses work smarter and grow faster. We partner with our clients to innovate and grow, reduce costs, manage risk and regulation as well as leverage talent. Our aim is to support businesses in designing, managing and executing lasting beneficial change.
Our practices provide a range of professional services to deliver large-scale and cross-territory transformation projects that are business-led and tech-enabled - from strategy through to execution.
About the Team
Our Strategy and Operations (S&O) team delivers deep industry expertise with functional know-how to help clients maximise their commercial (pricing, promotions), operations (supply chain, procurement) and go-to-market (e-commerce, loyalty) capabilities through a full-scale transformation lens.
As a team, our work spans a range of topics - from business strategy and planning, to operations and supply chain, and beyond to data analytics with the tools and technologies that deliver impact - and we work across territories with large-scale multinationals as well as local conglomerates, including some of the most well-recognised brand names in the region and world. Our diverse client service teams encourage out-of-the-box thinking, problem solving, great team mentality and a curiosity for understanding the latest industry trends, innovations and emerging technologies.
We are adding to our growing practice - and are looking for ambitious consultants, who can work collaboratively across disciplines; support in delivering challenging project assignments grows with our practice to greater heights.
About the Role / Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will be a strategic advisor and engagement leader, partnering with senior client stakeholders to optimize end-to-end supply chain and procurement operations, improve visibility and collaboration, and drive outcomes such as efficiency, cost improvement, resilience, and responsiveness. You will guide teams through complexity, connect the dots across functions and stakeholders, and shape solutions that are both business-led and tech-enabled.
You’ll also play a key role in building our practice in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia—developing people, expanding client relationships, and contributing to go-to-market and thought leadership. Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Assess complex operational issues with first principles thinking, bringing clarity and structure to otherwise ambiguous and multi-faceted problem statements in a hypothesis-driven way.
Lead and organise and conduct rigorous analysis and operational review in a disciplined manner to bring about quantifiable improvements or transformations in the areas of operations improvement, process optimisation, and supply chain management.
Stay abreast of current trends, emerging technologies and competitive landscapes.
Communicate clearly in written and oral formats and present to internal and external audiences - taking on feedback and refining work approach as required.
Lead engagement teams through structuring and managing their ideation, workflows, analysis and presentation output - while providing hands-on support and coaching.
Take on responsibility for overall project execution and delivery - as well as proposals and business development.
Participate in sector-led campaigns and thought leadership - working with colleagues to develop campaign materials, perspective documents and author thought pieces.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to develop team capabilities.
