Marine Surveyor & Adjuster

About the role PT CARSURIN Tbk' is seeking an experienced Marine Surveyor & Adjuster to join our dynamic team in West Jakarta, Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert surveying and adjusting services to our diverse range of clients within the mining, resources and energy sectors.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive surveys and assessments of marine vessels, cargo and related equipment to evaluate condition, determine causes of damage or loss, and provide expert analysis and recommendations.

Negotiating settlement of insurance claims on behalf of clients, ensuring fair and timely resolution.

Preparing detailed reports, documentation and supporting evidence to substantiate findings and recommendations.

Liaising with insurance providers, legal representatives and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient claims processing.

Providing technical guidance and recommendations to clients to mitigate future risks and losses.

Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards and best practices.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Marine Surveyor or Adjuster, preferably in Marine Survey, P&I Club survey, underwater and insurance survey.

Thorough understanding of marine vessel construction, equipment and operations.

Strong technical expertise in conducting comprehensive surveys and assessments, including root‑cause analysis.

Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proficient in report writing and data analysis.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Certification for CMID, OVID, MIIMS Marine Survey, CSC and/or AISI (Asosiasi Independent Surveyor Indonesia) is an advantage.
