Electrical Engineer Lead

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Lead to join our dynamic team at PT Sentratek Adiprestasi in Jakarta. As the Electrical Engineer Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for our diverse range of projects. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that align with our company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Lead a team of electrical engineers in the design, testing, and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to understand project requirements and develop efficient electrical solutions.

Understand Electrical Schematics & Instrumentation in the Conveyor Sector (*Priority)

Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Manage the procurement and installation of electrical equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost effectiveness.

Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify and resolve electrical‑related issues.

Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team, offering mentoring and training as needed.

Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Contribute to the development of company policies, procedures, and standards related to electrical engineering.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Minimum 8 years of experience as an Electrical & Instrument Engineer, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Proven experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects

Proficient in the use of electrical design software, such as SKADA, ETAP, or similar tools

Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills

Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities

Experience in managing and mentoring a team of electrical engineers
