OTC Trader

Xellar is a crypto OTC desk based in Jakarta. We move fast, trade big, and operate with zero margin for error. We're looking for a trader who can keep up.

The Role You'll be on the front line of our OTC desk — quoting prices, executing large-block trades, managing counterparty relationships, and staying on top of the market in real time. This is a high-pressure, high-reward role where response time and precision are everything.

Responsibilities

Execute large-volume crypto trades (BTC, ETH, altcoins) via OTC channels with speed and accuracy

Provide real-time quotes and negotiate pricing with institutional and high-net-worth clients

Monitor markets continuously and flag opportunities or risks to the team

Manage relationships with liquidity providers and counterparties

Handle trade settlement, reconciliation, and documentation without errors

Coordinate with operations, finance, and compliance on deal flow

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in financial markets (trading, banking, brokerage)

or

a data-intensive role (analyst, quant, data ops)

Strong numeracy and attention to detail — errors in amounts or addresses are not an option

Ability to respond fast and make sound decisions under pressure

Comfortable working flexible hours given the 24/7 nature of crypto markets

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; working English is a plus

Nice to Have

Prior crypto or OTC desk experience

Familiarity with hedging or risk management

Existing network in the crypto/trading space in SEA
