Overview Lead and manage solar PV projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards. Oversee project planning, resource allocation and risk management.

Provide technical guidance to project teams and engineering teams, assisting with complex engineering challenges and promoting innovative solutions.

Technical Analysis Conduct solar resource assessments, shading analysis and performance simulations using industry standard software. Assist in the evaluation of system performance, identify opportunities for optimization and identify risks. Expert understanding of industrial electrical systems, experience in LV and MV, preparation of electrical drawings, calculations and system design.

Technical data gathering to ascertain feasibility of PV projects for prospective clients. Knowledge of PLN permitting for solar PV projects.

Site Inspections Participate in site visits to assess potential locations for solar PV installations, considering factors such as sun exposure, roof conditions and electrical infrastructure.

Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, layouts, SLD and specifications for solar PV systems in compliance with relevant codes, regulations and industry standards.

Procurement Support Lead the preparation for Request for Proposals for EPC project detailing requirements, equipment, construction conditions and full project implementation including O&M to third party EPC contractors.

Safety Compliance Assure safety protocols and guidelines throughout project execution are implemented. Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Documentation Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project activities, engineering calculations and reports.

Collaboration Collaborate with cross functional teams, engineering team, installation crews and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Continuous Learning Stay up to date with advancements in solar PV technologies and industry trends. Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Travel Travel to job sites.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Electrical Engineering (solar PV engineering a plus) with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Operating skills: Able to operate Microsoft Office, Helioscope and PVSYST is a must. Able to operate major electrical software suites (Etap etc) to produce necessary design documents.

Technical skills: In-depth knowledge of solar PV system design, grid integration and advanced performance modeling. Proficiency in industry standard software for solar resource assessment and system design. Experience with electrical equipment and O&M activities as well as pricing. Familiarity with battery energy storage systems is a.

Analytical abilities: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to evaluate system performance and propose improvements.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Team leader: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment and contribute to team goals.
