Head of Finance (Mandarin Speaker)

Finance & Treasury Department Head – South Jakarta, Jakarta, ID

Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations (GL, AR/AP, monthly and annual closing)

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP

Lead tax planning and compliance processes (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax)

Stay updated on local tax regulations and coordinate with external tax advisors

Manage annual external and internal audit activities

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems

Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts

Monitor financial KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and drive corrective actions

Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and banking relationships

Oversee foreign exchange risk and cross-border fund transfers

Advise the Board and executive team on capital allocation, financial risks, and strategic initiatives

Support business development, pricing strategies, and investment evaluations

Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and ASEAN–China trade tariffs

Oversee customs documentation and optimize tariff structures for vehicle import

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Master’s degree and/or CPA certification is an advantage

5+ years of experience in senior finance roles (automotive, manufacturing, or trading)

Proven expertise in taxation, audit, treasury, and international finance

Fluency in English and Mandarin (required)

Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation (CIT, VAT, WHT, transfer pricing)

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)

Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capability

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams

Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, especially across Indonesia, China, and Singapore
