Underwriting & Policy Management Manager

To support shariah business with prudent risk through underwriting and policy management performance and provide superior service to customers and sales distributions Provide leadership, direction and management in the risk selection process in underwriting and policy management, and minimize it with prudent review Allocate underwriting authority, establishing their ability to accept risks, determine pricing and coverages, and place reinsurance Manage daily operation of the underwriting and policy management process such as provides assistance in underwriting of difficult, complex accounts and resolves issues beyond the authority level of underwriting & policy management and monitor of each departments in delivering service (improve SLA/ turn around time, reduce errors, etc) Manage good relationship and create alignment with Operation AZ Life team, other depts and external (reinsurance company, business partners including agents) Support other department such as in product design, deal with reinsurance company, complaint management, etc Review, Create, analyze and interprets data from various reports

Job Requirements

Education background from Medical major Minimum 10 years experience in life insurance operation especially in underwriting Multiple experience in several companies with operations roles Have syariah/takaful insurance experience is preferable Good understanding about underwriting, policy management, monitoring, controlling, and technical insurance process Strong skills in microsoft office and in maintain data analysis or using digital AI
