Commercial Manager Placement : Jakarta and Subang for Business purpose Account Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key customers, including shipping lines, freight forwarders, car carriers, and logistics providers.

Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their operational needs, service issues, and future business plans.

Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal departments (Operations, Finance, Customer Service, IT, and Engineering).

Conduct periodic business reviews and performance meetings with customers.

Manage contract obligations and ensure compliance with agreed service levels (SLA/KPI).

Business Development & Commercial Strategy

Identify and pursue new business opportunities—cargo owners, shipping lines and other potential port users.

Support commercial strategy development, including market segmentation, pricing, and service offering improvements.

Prepare commercial proposals for related customers.

Evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to recommend commercial actions.

Contracting & Negotiation

Participate in commercial negotiations for new contracts, renewals, tariffs, and service packages.

Ensure commercial agreements comply with company policy and industry regulations.

Work with Legal and Finance teams to review contract terms and risk exposure.

Performance Management & Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement operational enhancements.

Revenue & Performance Management

Monitor revenue performance of each account and ensure targets are achieved.

Track volume forecasting, budget alignment, and commercial performance metrics.

Analyze customer profitability and recommend improvement strategies.

Stakeholder Coordination

Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, customs, port authorities, and logistics partners.

Handle customer inquiries, operational issues, and service-level agreements.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years experience in port operations, shipping lines, or logistics industry.

Proven experience in account management, commercial negotiation, and business development.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and financial acumen.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, operational environment.

Willing to do a business trip to Patimban Port.
