What you'll do
As the IT Manager - Third Party Logistics based in Jakarta, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both infrastructure and application needs across six office locations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve hands-on technical assistance for hardware and software issues while supervising local IT resources or vendors to maintain high service levels. You will coordinate closely with regional teams on escalations related to major incidents or compliance requirements. In addition to managing servers, networks, virtualisation platforms, and cloud services like Microsoft 365, you will ensure robust cybersecurity practices are followed throughout the organisation. You will also provide essential support for Freight Management Systems (FMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), facilitating user onboarding and training during new rollouts. Your ability to maintain accurate documentation and asset inventories will underpin successful budgeting processes. By fostering strong relationships with business teams and external vendors alike, you will help create a dependable technology landscape that supports efficient warehouse operations.
Deliver first and second line support for users across hardware, software, network devices, and business applications to ensure smooth daily operations.
Supervise local IT support personnel or vendors, maintaining high standards of service delivery and meeting agreed response times for incident resolution.
Maintain comprehensive IT documentation including standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and user instructions to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Coordinate escalations with regional APAC IT teams for major incidents, compliance matters, and project implementations as required.
Participate in on‑call rotations for critical systems to guarantee business continuity during operational peaks or emergencies.
Support daily management of servers, storage solutions, virtualisation platforms, and local network devices by performing routine system checks and health monitoring.
Assist with patching activities, upgrades, asset lifecycle management, identity provisioning (AD/Azure AD), and access control processes.
Ensure compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies by implementing endpoint protection measures and remediating vulnerabilities promptly.
Provide operational support for cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 (including email, Teams, SharePoint) and assist with backup/restore processes aligned with disaster recovery targets.
Act as the key contact for Freight Management Systems (FMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), supporting user onboarding, training coordination, data validation, test execution, go‑live activities, and troubleshooting.

Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Windows operating systems administration including troubleshooting hardware/software issues in a multi‑site environment.
Proven ability to manage Microsoft 365 platforms such as email configuration, Teams collaboration tools, SharePoint sites management, identity access provisioning/revocation via AD/Azure AD.
Solid understanding of networking concepts including switching technologies, Wi‑Fi configuration/troubleshooting, firewall management (Cisco/Fortinet), server/virtual machine operations (VMware/Hyper‑V).
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including endpoint protection strategies, vulnerability remediation techniques, patch management processes, and compliance enforcement.
Experience providing functional support for logistics‑related platforms such as Freight Management Systems (Cargoes Runner/CargoWise) or Warehouse Management Systems; familiarity with user onboarding/training is highly desirable.
Ability to supervise team members or manage service providers effectively while maintaining a service‑oriented mindset focused on prompt issue resolution.
Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication abilities for supporting users across diverse backgrounds and coordinating with regional teams.
Capacity to prioritise tasks efficiently within an operationally demanding environment while remaining responsive to changing business needs.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline; certifications such as ITIL Foundation/Microsoft 365/CCNA/CompTIA are preferred but not mandatory.
Prior experience working within logistics/freight forwarding/warehouse environments is advantageous; exposure to multinational company practices is beneficial.
