Your Role
As a Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for deploying the regional packaging strategy across plant spreads and creams portfolio around Asia. This role involves managing new packaging initiatives while ensuring packaging excellence throughout the supply base, significantly contributing to the success of the Packaging R&D function.
You will lead end‑to‑end development of packaging activities, collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. We are looking for someone passionate, proactive, and innovative to make a positive impact on how packaging supports both short‑term and long‑term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage packaging projects aligned with the regional roadmap for plant spreads and creams.
Lead initiatives focused on margin improvement while maintaining compliance across the packaging portfolio.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, Quality) and global partners to drive packaging projects effectively.
Identify and implement innovative packaging technologies that enhance sustainability and cost efficiency.
Ensure all packaging developments meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and brand guidelines.
Sustainability Commitment
Drive eco‑friendly packaging solutions that reduce environmental impact and align with Flora Food Group’s sustainability goals.
Explore renewable materials, lightweight designs, and recyclability to support circular economy principles.
Partner with suppliers to implement green innovations and monitor compliance with global sustainability standards.
Skills & Experience Required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in Packaging R&D (FMCG experience is essential).
Proven track record in packaging and product development, including structural and functional innovation.
Skills:
Strong project and stakeholder management.
Effective communication across functions (Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement).
Deep understanding of product development processes and packaging technologies.
Attributes:
