Assistant Manager, Liaison & Government Relations

for

PT. Agro Murni , part of Mewah Group.

About the Role We are looking for an

Assistant Manager, Liaison & Government Relations

to support the Manager in handling regulatory compliance, licensing, legal advisory, and stakeholder management for our Indonesia operations.

You will play a key role in ensuring the company operates in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards while maintaining strong relationships with government agencies and local communities.

Responsibilities Licensing & Compliance

Assist in managing all permits required for company operational activities.

Monitor and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Analyze company activities requiring permits and coordinate with internal teams and appointed consultants.

Draft, review, and implement policies, SOPs, guidelines, and templates.

Maintain and update company licenses for Mewah Group entities in Indonesia.

Legal Advisory & Case Handling

Provide preliminary legal analysis and gather information for issue resolution.

Liaise with government bodies, external parties, and local community groups.

Assist in risk mitigation activities and coordinate preventive action with internal departments.

Stakeholder & Community Relations

Support the Manager in building and maintaining good relations with community stakeholders.

Assist in addressing matters arising at project sites to minimize operational disruptions.

Training & Development

Support legal and compliance training for project teams and business units.

Promote self-learning and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

Bachelor or Masterโ€™s degree in

Law .

Minimum

5 years

experience as a practicing lawyer or in-house counsel.

Experience in licensing, liaison, regulatory compliance, and government relations.

Ability to communicate effectively with government authorities and external stakeholders.

Proficient in drafting legal documents and policy guidelines.

Limited working proficiency in English (written & spoken).
