Job Description

SVP, Marketing & Branding Head (WD69866) Group Strategic Marketing & Communications (GSMC) is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications, marketing and research to differentiate – and elevate – our brand from the rest of the competition.

Business Function Group Strategic Marketing & Communications (GSMC) is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications, marketing and research to differentiate – and elevate – our brand from the rest of the competition.

Responsibilities

Develop marketing communication strategy for related business units in accordance with brand positioning that wants to be driven in market and also in accordance with key brand drivers that need to be strengthen based on needed/current data and analytics

Develop marketing communication strategy for related business units (Consumer Banking/ Institutional Banking Group) that supports business targets and align with product/services in focus.

Keep abreast of all branding and marketing trends in the industry.

Work collaboratively with business unit teams to create and manage single or cross-organizational, integrated marketing & branding strategies as well as providing strategic counsel for branding applications.

Coordinate marketing communications projects with vendors and contractors for the development and production of educational event promotional materials, web site production and other core collaterals (which include but are not limited to print advertising, TV, radio advertising, billboard, brochures, posters, window & wall stickers, statement message, sms push, email push, sales booths, digital/social media and other marketing collaterals)

If required, workwith business unit and support unit team – to assist in developing new revenue sources through for example, exhibits and sponsorships.

Review and edit existing promotional materials for marketing effectiveness, cross-selling implications and adherence to brand guidelines.

Develop reports i.e. per programme, strategy and/or quarterly, semerster, annual.

Requirements

At least 8 years experience in area of Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Brand Management or Business.

Experience in marketing administrative work

Experience in leading working teams.

Good understanding of 360 marketing practices.
