A
Warehouse Manager
is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a warehouse or distribution center. This role ensures that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently, safely, and accurately. The Warehouse Manager is also in charge of inventory control, team supervision, and maintaining operational standards.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Logistics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong understanding of inventory management systems and ERP.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., SAP), and strong attention to detail.
Good understanding of FIFO/FEFO inventory systems.
Willing to work in shifts (if required).
Ability to load large teams with firmness, fairness, and motivational approach.
Excellent problem-solving skill with a "can-do"attitude under pressure
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, assertive.
A hight level of honesty and accountability in managing company assets.
Responsibilities
Supervise the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure all goods are stored in accordance with FIFO/FEFO standards.
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and proper organization of the warehouse area.
Responsible for tracking incoming and outgoing goods to maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse.
Inputting inventory data (receipts, shipments, adjustments) into the system and preparing daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports.
Conducting regular physical audits (cycle counts) and full stock opname to match physical items with system data.
Checking incoming goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with purchase orders (PO).
Ensuring proper labeling, numbering, and organization of items for easy retrieval and reduced damage.
Analyzing inventory data to identify slow-moving or expired items and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Prepare stock reports, inbound/outbound reports, and monthly inventory reports.
Coordinate with purchasing, production, and distribution departments.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to warehouse staff.
Conduct regular briefings and performance evaluations.
Provide training, coaching, and team development.
Ensure accuracy between physical inventory and system records.
Conduct regular stock opname (cycle counts and full inventory audits).
Monitor and control slow-moving and dead stock items.
