Senior Manager Special Project

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning to execution, and ensuring successful and timely delivery. The candidate will work closely with the VP of Special Projects, alongside the COO & CEO on critical projects. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities: Project Planning and Strategy: Develop a comprehensive project plan, outlining tasks, timelines, and milestones. Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Team Leadership: Assemble and lead a high-performing cross-functional project team. Provide clear direction, delegate tasks, and ensure effective collaboration among team members.

Resource Management: Manage project resources, including budget, materials, and personnel. Anticipate and address potential resource constraints to ensure smooth project execution.

Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, developing proactive mitigation strategies. Adapt project plans as needed to address challenges and ensure project success.

Communication and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and milestones.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards. Conduct thorough reviews and testing as necessary.

Reporting and Documentation: Generate regular status reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones. Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomes.

Data Protection Officer: As part of the Special Project team, the candidate will be appointed as Pluang’s Group Data Protection Officer as well. As Data Protection Officer, the candidate will be responsible in overseeing the data protection structure of Pluang ensuring compliance with local regulations and continuously improving our process to better secure and handle sensitive data.

Candidates will also be expected to take up training and certification related to his role as Data Protection Officer.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business / Engineering / Computer Science. Min 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the Tech / Finance industry is a Plus.
