About the Role We are seeking a Freelance / Part‑Time Drafter to develop detailed furniture drawings and fabrication‑ready shop drawings for interior projects. The role focuses on custom furniture, built‑ins, and interior joinery.

This is a project‑based position, suitable for someone who can work independently and deliver accurate, construction‑ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed shop drawings for custom loose furniture

Produce complete drawing sets including Plans, Elevations, Sections, Detailed construction drawings, and Material and hardware specifications

Develop fabrication‑ready drawings with accurate dimensions

Coordinate with designers and contractors when needed

Revise drawings based on feedback from site or production teams

Qualifications

Proficient in AutoCAD (required)

Strong technical drafting and detailing skills

Good understanding of furniture construction and joinery systems

Knowledge of materials, finishes, and hardware

Ability to produce clear, precise, and fabrication‑ready drawings

Detail‑oriented and organized

Able to meet deadlines and work independently

Preferred

Background in Interior Design or Architecture

Experience working with fabrication teams or carpenters

Experience in hospitality or residential interior projects
