How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate contract management activities throughout contract negotiation and execution phases, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations, Saipem guidelines, and applicable standards.
Support the development and implementation of the contract management execution strategy to minimize risks and maximize contractual and commercial opportunities.
Facilitate contract handover and induction processes, ensuring completeness, consistency, and clear interpretation of contract requirements for project teams.
Draft, review, and manage contractual correspondence with Clients, Partners, Vendors, and Subcontractors, representing the company in contractual matters as required.
Prepare and manage contractual variations and claims, including Extension of Time (EOT), disruption, and acceleration claims, covering contractual, commercial, technical, and pricing aspects.
Provide contractual advice on entitlement and quantum for variations and claims, including support for financial and budget reporting.
Support negotiations with Clients, Partners, Vendors, and Subcontractors on contractual, commercial, and technical matters, under delegation from the Commercial Contract Manager.
Participate in project budget reviews, industrial risk management activities, and ensure the application of contract-related risk mitigation methodologies.
Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain functions in negotiating contract documents for purchase orders and subcontract agreements during project execution.
Manage contractual aspects related to bank guarantees, insurance guarantees, and corporate guarantees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure proper reporting, documentation, lessons learned, and coordination with external contract management service providers when required.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum
7-10 years of experience in c ontract management within
EPC, oil & gas, construction, or large-scale industrial projects .
Strong knowledge of contract administration, claims management, variations, and risk management principles.
Familiarity with international contract forms (e.g., EPC contracts, subcontract agreements) and project commercial frameworks.
Proven ability to draft and review contractual correspondence and support negotiations with multiple stakeholders.
Experience supporting procurement and subcontract negotiations during project execution.
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary project teams.
Good command of English, both written and spoken; proficiency in contract management systems is an advantage.
High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work under project-driven deadlines.
