Job Description: Assist in developing and managing the internal legal team, ensuring all actions comply with Sharia principles and insurance regulations. Coordinate with external lawyers on litigation, regulatory, and compliance cases involving the company. Support the Manager Legal in managing legal risks, including the mitigation of potential legal exposure. Draft, review, and finalize responses to complaints, legal notices, and regulatory inquiries, ensuring alignment with Sharia principles and company policies. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials and Sharia supervisory boards, on legal and compliance matters. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance legal and Sharia compliance awareness within the organization.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable university, with a minimum GPA of 3.00. At least 3-5 years of experience as an in-house counsel (corporate/legal function) in financial institutions or as a corporate lawyer in a reputable law firm. Experience in Sharia life insurance is highly preferred. Strong background in insurance law, Sharia law, and corporate/commercial law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Possession of an Indonesian Advocate (PERADI) License is an advantage. Detail-oriented, with strong Microsoft Office skills. In-depth knowledge of legal procedures, strategies, and Sharia compliance requirements for life insurance companies.
