Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment that brings stories and characters to life through innovative and engaging physical products and digital experiences across more than 100 product categories.
About The Role
The Retail Management Intern would provide administrative support and be part of creating retail excitement together with the Consumer Product team. This role will provide exposure to the planning and execution of retail channel activities, collaborating with top-tier retailers across the country as well as distributors.
The intern will be responsible for bringing to life the Back-to-School and Summer Holiday campaigns, two of the major seasonal initiatives during the internship period. The role will support campaign planning, facilitate coordination between licensees, distributors and retailers, and monitor in-store implementation to ensure best-in-class retail execution.
Responsibilities:
Business Drive
Support the team in working toward the growth goals of retail partners
Assist in developing new ideas and initiatives to help drive sales during key campaigns
Participate in brainstorming sessions for seasonal campaigns and promotions
Help coordinate tasks and timelines as part of end-to-end campaign project support
Retail Experience
Help connect retailers with distributors and licensees to support smooth execution
Support the creative process by ensuring ideas align with in-store execution plans
Assist in monitoring campaign implementation across retail stores
Help collect and analyze basic campaign results and share learnings and best practices with the team
Overall
Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and campaign reviews
Think creatively and contribute ideas that meet retail partner needs
Work with different teams to learn how marketing, retail, and execution come together
Internship Requirements:
Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July to December 2026

Requirements:
Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Knowledge or interest in Retail industry and/or Visual Merchandising is a plus
Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel
Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for retail and marketing
Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organization, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
Passionate team player with a never-ending curiosity
Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
Strategic thinker with good communications skills
Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent command of written and spoken English
