About the Role As a Business Development Specialist at Flip, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth by identifying, building, and nurturing strategic partnerships. Your ability to spot opportunities, negotiate win-win deals, and cultivate strong relationships will be crucial in expanding Flip’s reach and unlocking new revenue streams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—ranging from product and marketing to sales—to design and execute partnership strategies that align with Flip’s long-term vision. About Flip Rafi, Luqman, and Anjar, who were college friends in Universitas Indonesia, started Flip as a project in 2015 to transfer payments to each other at a fraction of what banks would charge them. What you'll do: Identify, prospect, and engage new business opportunities and potential partners through market research, networking, and outreach. Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with new and existing partners to maximize partnership value. Lead the full partnership lifecycle from initial contact through to negotiation and contract execution. Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to develop and execute partnership strategies. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and partnership performance to identify new growth areas and opportunities. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to internal stakeholders and potential partners. Track and report on key performance metrics related to business development and partnership activities.

What you'll need: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in a business development, partnerships, or related relevant role. Proven ability to identify and secure strategic partnerships. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to make informed decisions. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the Payment and Fintech industry. Experience with contract negotiation and management. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
