Job Title: Calibration Engineer
Location: Bintan, Indonesia
Direct Manager: Quality Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the implementation of a quality management system in the laboratory.
Develop and implement testing and/or calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirement.
Follow up on the issue from the laboratory technician and discussed it with the laboratory supervisor.
Review working instructions and supported documents periodically.
Verify calibration result/report.
Lead, guide, train and develop technicians to ensure the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties well.
Ensure all equipment is maintained/calibrated properly.
Identify potential problems which could jeopardize the quality management system.
Initiate actions to avoid violation of the quality management system.
Responsible as a technical supervisor in charge when the laboratory supervisor is in absence.
Validation method and result, intermediate check, uncertainty calculation.
Liaise with Purchaser for purchasing instrument or calibration.
Liaise with Customer Service Inside Sales for customer relation.
Key Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering preferably specialized in certification or other related fields.
Minimum 2 (two) year of work experience in calibration activity, mainly in ISO documentation.
Familiar with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 will be an advantage.
Good attitude and communication skills.
Able to work under pressure and tight schedule.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Willingness and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
