With a state-of-the-art production facility in Batam, they supply highly engineered products to global blue-chip customers in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and are investing heavily in technology, automation and digitalization to strengthen their regional operations. Job Description The Head of IT will be responsible for the overall IT strategy, governance and delivery for the company's operations in Indonesia and across the broader region. Based in Batam and reporting functionally to the Global Head of IT in Europe, this role will lead a team of around 10 IT professionals covering applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity and plant/operational technology.Key responsibilities include: IT Strategy & Governance Define and execute the regional IT roadmap in alignment with global IT strategy and business objectives. Ensure adherence to global IT standards, policies and cybersecurity frameworks. Drive continuous improvement, IT governance and risk management across all sites in scope. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary IT business partner for regional leadership, plant management and functional heads. Translate business needs into technology solutions, building robust business cases and project plans. Collaborate closely with global IT teams in Europe to align regional initiatives with global programs. Applications,ERP & Data Oversee the implementation, maintenance and optimization of core business applications (e.g. ERP, MES, SCM, finance and HR systems). Ensure system reliability, data integrity and user adoption across plants and corporate functions. Promote data-driven decision-making by improving reporting, analytics and data governance. Infrastructure, Network &Cybersecurity Lead the management of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud services and end-user computing. Ensure high availability, performance and resilience of IT services across regional locations. Strengthen cybersecurity posture and compliance in line with global standards and industry regulations. Operational Technology & Manufacturing Support Work closely with plant operations, engineering and maintenance teams to support OT/IT integration. Support digital manufacturing initiatives (e.g. Industry 4.0, automation, IoT, predictive maintenance). Ensure robust IT support for production systems to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Team Leadership & Vendor Management Lead, mentor and develop a regional IT team of around 10 people, fostering a high-performance culture. Manage external vendors, integrators and service providers to ensure quality, SLA adherence and value for money. Plan and manage IT budgets, investments and resources for the region.

The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will be an experienced IT leader with a proven track record in manufacturing or industrial environments, comfortable operating in a multinational, matrix

requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; a Master's degree is a plus. 10-15+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams. Strong exposure to manufacturing / industrial operations, ideally in a multinational company. Good understanding of infrastructure, networks, cloud, cybersecurity and IT service management (ITIL). Experience supporting or integrating operational technology (OT) and plant-floor systems is highly desirable. Proven ability to define and execute IT strategy, manage complex projects and drive digital transformation. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to collaborate with both local and global teams. Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a strong advantage. Willingness to be based in Batam.
