Procurement Manager (Coal)

We are looking for an experienced Coal Procurement Manager to join our dynamic and internationally focused team.

Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers and buyers through regular communication and on-site visits.

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and buyers for raw materials, expanding and enhancing the supplier database with market indicators, logistics info, pricing models, and other relevant data.

Monitor inventory levels at mines and warehouses; work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stock availability for customer requirements.

Stay updated on global and domestic coal-market developments to support strategic decision-making.

Participate in power-plant tenders, including mine selection, coordination with mining companies, documentation support, and reviewing/negotiating bidding and contract terms.

Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with commercial and sales targets.

Analyse purchase and sales performance, prepare reports, and recommend corrective measures.

Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Coal Mining, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 6 years’ experience in coal procurement and sales, with strong understanding of domestic and international coal-market dynamics.

Deep knowledge of coal supply-chain operations, coal specifications, and market characteristics.

Solid understanding of international trade rules, customs regulations, and export documentation (Invoice, L/C, Contract, Shipping Documents).

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel frequently, including international travel.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Flexibility and readiness for overseas assignments.
